FIELDNOTE: Soft Landings Week AKA Home-cationing

"I'm taking a bath."

"I'm drinking wine."

"I'm buying feta."

"I'm listening to ridiculous cosmic frequencies."

"And I'm enjoying myself."

For years, I would have called this avoidance.

Now I wonder if it was recovery.

The world felt crunchy this week.

My back complained.
My nervous system remembered old things.
The inner monkey brain reviewed several imaginary disasters.

Nothing was actually wrong. Just some things have been crunchy.

Life was simply asking me to sit down for a minute.

So I did.

The garden produced leafy broccoli (that turns out to be healthy and tasty sauteed) and telephone-pole radishes (great for pollinators).
The universe aka the weird world of Youtube produced a golden woman floating in front of a giant sun at 963 Hz.
The grocery store stocked feta and red wine.

I accepted all offerings.

Namaste. I’m not avoiding anymore. I’m soft living with intention.
