☀️Sunshine State of Mind 🍊

Some Fridays call for a little less thinking. And it might have been the heat and humidity!

This Friday called for my bright Tropicana shirt I thrifted, my Lauren Ralph Lauren cami for modesty in case a button let loose, some well-loved denim cutoffs (suck it in babes), and a pair of vintage yellow suede sandals with tassels that somehow make every outfit feel a little more playful (and have managed to stay in one piece since thrifted).

I kept the accessories simple but substantial—a hammered gold cuff, matching bangle, and oversized disc earrings that catch the light without asking for too much attention.

One of the things I enjoy most about vintage clothing is that it doesn't have to be precious. A cheerful shirt can become an everyday favorite instead of waiting for a vacation that may or may not happen.

Sometimes the vacation is simply a slower Friday.

An iced cherry Coke.

A walk through the shop straightening.

A conversation with a customer.

Finding beauty in ordinary moments.

I've been thinking a lot lately about curating a life instead of waiting for one. Getting dressed is part of that. Not to impress anyone, but to make an ordinary day feel a little brighter.

Today's outfit reminded me that sunshine isn't always something you wait for.

Sometimes you wear it.
